Placing Your Order

Thank you for choosing Custom Map Printing! We are glad that you have chosen to trust us with your map printing needs. Below are instructions for placing your order with us. If you do not wish to submit your order via our website, you may also submit your order and files to us via email to [email protected]. If you are ready to place an order at this time, please review the below instructions and proceed with placing your order.

  • Mouse over ‘Products’ drop down menu in the header bar
  • Select the product category from the drop down for the item you wish to order (multiple products can be added if needed, however, we are not able to offer combined shipping discounts on all items).
  • Select your product options from the appropriate drop down menus (Stock, Size, Color, Quantity, etc.)
  • Click ‘Add to Cart’
  • At this time, you may add other products to your order if you wish to do so. Your items will remain in your cart until you are ready to check out, or you may click ‘Continue to Check Out’ if you are done shopping
  • Click ‘View Cart’
  • Review the items in your cart and update if needed
  • Select shipping method – please note that shipping is calculated AFTER the order is placed. You will be contacted with your shipping cost prior to your payment method being charged if a method is provided at check out.
  • Click the ‘Proceed to Check Out’ button
  • If you are a returning customer or have already created an online account with us, please log in at this time to complete your order. If you are a new customer, you will be asked to create an account during the checkout process. An account is recommended for online order status, reviewing order history, etc., but is not required to place your order.
  • Enter your billing details (name, address, phone number, email address). To the right of this section, you will also see a check box which asks if you are shipping to a different address. If so, please check the box and enter your ship to address. We can ship to multiple addresses on some products. Please contact us if this is needed prior to placing your order, as we are not able to accommodate these requests on all items).
  • Click the ‘Create an account’ checkbox if you wish to create a new account with us at this time. If you do not create an account at this time and are not already logged in as an existing customer, your order history for this online order will not be available for later review, so it is highly recommended that you create an account at this time.
  • Complete final review of order details and shipping information (changes can be made after placing your order, but you must contact us to make these changes).
  • Select payment method. You may enter your credit card information at this time, or if you wish to pay by check, or if you do not wish to provide a credit card at this time, you may select ‘Pay by check’. You will be contacted with your order total after proof approval is received. Payment in full is required prior to production.
  • If you wish to upload files, you may do so now. Files can also be submitted via email to [email protected]. We do recommend that you review our file set up instructions or use one of our templates prior to submitting your files.
  • Click ‘Place Order’

You’re all set! Shortly after placing your order (usually within a few hours depending on day of the week and time of day) we will begin processing your order. If you supplied files, we will prepare an eproof which you will receive via email, or let you know of any questions or concerns regarding your art files. If you did not supply art files, we will contact you to request them. Should you require assistance with creating your art files, we do also offer graphic design services. We will also contact you with your shipping estimate or any questions regarding your supplied shipping instructions. Once your eproof is approved, we will send over an invoice reflecting your order total. If you have already supplied payment information and have approved all charges, your credit card will be charged at this time and your order will move to production. Otherwise, we will request payment in full from you at this time, as we produce a custom product and require payment in full prior to production.
